Description:

Lambda Logics is looking for Lead WordPress developers, experienced in working with customization and development of plugins, widgets, and themes. In addition, a strong understanding of the latest industry trends and other content management systems (CMS) will be required.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the development of WordPress projects, ensuring high-quality and timely delivery.
  • Architect and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
  • Customize and extend existing WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
  •  Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Optimize website performance, including speed and security enhancements.
  • Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools into WordPress websites as needed.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of visual elements and content.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and support their professional growth.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest WordPress trends, technologies, and best practices and share knowledge with the team.

Skills:

  • Proven 7+ years' experience as a Senior/ team lead WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your expertise in leading and delivering complex WordPress projects.
  •  In-depth knowledge of WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development, theme customization, and working with WordPress APIs.
  • Strong command of PHP and MySQL for backend development and database management.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git and familiarity with development workflows.
  • Solid understanding of web performance optimization techniques, SEO best practices, and security principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to architect scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet project deadlines.
  • Passion for continuous learning, staying updated with industry trends, and sharing knowledge with the team.
