Software Engineer, Tech Role at ibex Pakistan

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design and deploy web-based applications that meet the needs of our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy web-based applications using various technologies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine and prioritize requirements for project success
  • Participate in the architecture-level design of enterprise applications to ensure scalability and efficiency
  • Verify system functionality, quality, and accuracy through thorough testing and quality assurance processes
  • Review and provide feedback on design, analysis, and code to ensure high-quality standards are met
  • Adhere to best practices in software development while meeting project deadlines and milestones
  • Engage in peer-review meetings to discuss solution designs and code
  • Cross-functional collaboration with QA, UX, DBA, Reporting, and Application Development teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Communicate effectively with onshore teams to facilitate successful project outcomes
  • Support the deployment of releases to production environments
  • Ensure data security by preventing the use of production data for testing or development purposes
  • Maintain the security of testing environments by erasing operational information and credentials after testing
  • Monitor work progress, identify areas for improvement, and take corrective actions as needed
  • Provide guidance and support to less experienced team members to ensure successful task completion and team growth
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related engineering discipline
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in software development
  • Strong expertise in ASP.NET MVC, JavaScript, jQuery, React.js, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies
