Job Specification

What You Need for this Position:

  • Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases as per requirement.
  • Perform UI, ad-hoc, functionality, security and performance testing.
  • Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
  • Writing database queries for testing.
  • Ability to use Postman and/or Ready-API to execute REST service requests for API testing.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities.
  • Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs.
  • Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing projects to meet client needs.
  • Utilize DevOps, JIRA or any other tool for bug tracking as per company requirements to execute tests, log defects and acceptance criteria.
  • Work closely with product owners, product manager, and team members to identify areas and methods to help improve testing efficiency, expand coverage and increase product reliability.

Preferred Skills:

  • Should have automation skills understanding using the latest tools, standards and technologies.
  • Familiar with API automation testing.
  • Should have good concept/knowledge of security testing tools like Acunetix and performance testing tools like JMeter, Load Runner etc.
  • Is self-motivated and can work with minimal direction.
  • Excellent speaking, listening and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge and adherence to the Agile/Scrum work principles.
  • Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment, multi-task and stay organized.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
