Location: This role is based in Islamabad, Pakistan. (Onsite)

About the role:

This role is responsible for financial accounting and reporting of Telenor Pakistan. This includes performing and supporting daily operational tasks and month-end closing & reporting for Telenor Pakistan & its subsidiaries.

The role also involves ensuring compliance with applicable standards, policies, and processes, and executing daily routines.

Your Impactful goals will include:
  • Maintaining and updating daily task lists/checklists.
  • Ensuring compliance with Group/Local Policies and IFRS.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring documentation and updating of SOPs.
Your Typical Day of Work:
  • Performing and supporting the recording of financial transactions.
  • Providing support to the team in delivering daily tasks.
  • Supporting the month-end closing and reporting process.
  • Managing ad hoc tasks as required.
What we are looking for?

Education & Professional Qualification: ACCA, C.A Inter, or Master/Bachelor's in Finance.

Certification(s): Finance or Accounting.

Work Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.

Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong time-management and follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Team-oriented and adaptable.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle challenges.
  • Knowledge of International Accounting Standards.
  • Strong adherence to Telenor's vision, values, and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to learn and implement new ideas.
