General Auditor

Fulcrum Pvt Ltd is looking for a " General Auditor for our leading client.

The General Auditor is responsible for performing independent and objective audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes to evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas of improvement, and ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Plan and execute internal audit assignments in accordance with the annual audit plan.
• Review and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.
• Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing findings, risks, and actionable recommendations.
• Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation by relevant departments.
• Assist in the development of audit programs and testing procedures relevant to risk and audit objectives.
• Evaluate the accuracy and reliability of financial and operational information.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Support external auditors during statutory audits, as required.
• Collaborate with management to strengthen internal control frameworks.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit working papers in line with professional standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 to 3 years of relevant auditing experience (internal or external).
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles (e.g., IFRS or GAAP), and internal control systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word); experience with audit software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CA-Inter will be an advantage.
