Job Purpose:

To support, maintain, and troubleshoot IT software integrated with manufacturing equipment and automation systems, ensuring IT-related issues within the maintenance section are addressed promptly.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Provide technical support for software/hardware issues related to maintenance and manufacturing automation systems by utilizing diagnostic tools and collaborating with relevant internal stakeholders.
  2. Conduct routine system check-ups, apply updates, and utilize performance monitoring tools to ensure software remains updated and performs optimally.
  3. Diagnose and resolve IT-related malfunctions in coordination with the maintenance and manufacturing teams.
  4. Work with the EI&A Engineer to troubleshoot software issues, especially those involving integration between IT systems and manufacturing equipment.
  5. Offer technical assistance and guidance to end-users within the maintenance section, facilitating their day-to-day operations.
  6. Assist in the installation, updating, and backup of software used in manufacturing and automation systems, ensuring compatibility with the current IT environment.
  7. Manage software licenses for tools used in maintenance, ensuring compliance with timely renewals to avoid service expirations.
  8. Keep a detailed inventory of software tools, versions, and credentials to ensure license compliance, enhance security through timely updates, and support efficient system recovery during IT emergencies.
  9. Maintain detailed records of interventions, issues resolved, and updates to document best practices that can be used as a point of reference.
  10. Keep abreast of the latest developments in software and maintenance systems to ensure NFL's manufacturing processes align with industry best practices.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/ DAE Electrical with 2 - 3 years of experience.
