Job Summary: The Director of Electrical Engineering will oversee the planning, design, and execution of all electrical systems for large-scale housing and real estate projects across Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi. The role ensures compliance with national and international standards, cost efficiency, and sustainable energy solutions while leading a team of engineers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop electrical engineering strategies for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Align electrical infrastructure with project master plans and sustainability goals (e.g., solar integration, energy-efficient systems).
  2. Design & Compliance: Review and approve electrical designs (HV/LV systems, substations, distribution networks, lighting, fire alarms, etc.). Ensure compliance with Pakistan Electrical Code (PEC), IEC, IEEE, and local regulations.
  3. Project Management: Lead electrical engineering teams across multiple projects, ensuring on-time, within-budget delivery. Coordinate with civil, mechanical, and architectural teams for integrated solutions.
  4. Technical Oversight: Supervise load calculations, earthing systems, renewable energy integration, and smart grid technologies. Conduct risk assessments and mitigation plans for electrical systems.
  5. Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with government authorities (e.g., IESCO, LESCO, K-Electric), contractors, and vendors. Manage contracts, BOQs, and procurement of electrical materials.
  6. Innovation & Sustainability: Implement green building practices (LEED/EDGE certification standards). Promote energy-efficient solutions (LED lighting, solar PV, energy storage).
  7. Quality & Safety: Enforce strict QA/QC protocols and safety standards (NFPA, OSHA). Resolve on-site electrical issues during construction.
