Job Description: English Teacher for Grade 4 & 5 – Kuri Campus

Role Description:

SuperNova School is looking for a passionate and experienced English Teacher for Grades 4 and 5 at our Kuri Campus. This is a full-time, on-site position. The teacher will be responsible for effective lesson planning and delivery, maintaining a stimulating classroom environment, and supporting students' academic and language development in line with the school's values and curriculum goals. To help you assess travel time and distance, here is the location of SuperNova School, Kuri Campus.

Qualification Criteria:

Educational Background:

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a closely related field.

• A Master's degree in a relevant subject will be considered an advantage.

Teaching Experience:

• At least 3–5 years of teaching experience at the primary or middle school level, preferably in a reputable institution.

• A strong record of student engagement and learning outcomes.

• Familiarity with modern teaching practices and the Cambridge Primary English curriculum is highly preferred.

• Ability to foster language skills such as reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, and vocabulary building.

Instructional Skills:

• Skilled in lesson planning and the use of engaging, age-appropriate teaching strategies.

• Experience with project-based learning, differentiated instruction, and assessment for learning.

Communication and Classroom Management:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to manage a classroom with confidence while nurturing a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Professional Development:

• Willingness to attend workshops, training sessions, and contribute to curriculum enhancement.

• A collaborative approach to working with colleagues and school leadership.
