We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Production with a strong background in Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Assembly and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety protocols, and achieving delivery timelines while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager – Production with a strong background in Low Voltage (LV) and/or Medium Voltage (MV) Switchgear Assembly and Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring quality standards, maintaining safety protocols, and achieving delivery timelines while coordinating closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor for switchgear panel assembly.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor production to meet customer delivery deadlines.
  • Ensure optimal use of manpower, tools, and materials for maximum efficiency.
  • Monitor and improve production processes to reduce waste and downtime.
  • Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Procurement teams for smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and ISO procedures.
  • Maintain accurate production reports and documentation.
  • Train and guide team members to enhance skillsets and productivity.
  • Assist in audits, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing).
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in a switchgear manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of LV/MV switchgear panel design and assembly.
  • Familiarity with production planning tools and ERP systems.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage teams and resolve operational issues under pressure.
  • Understanding of quality standards (ISO, IEC) and HSE practices.
Preferred:
  • Experience working with brands like Siemens, Schneider, ABB, or equivalent.
  • Certifications in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
