Your Role

The Salesperson will be part of the Industrial Air Division within Compressor Technique, focusing on compressor ranges from 2 to 90 KW, Dryers, and Gas Generators.

Working as a field sales representative, your responsibilities include developing sales, achieving monthly targets, and defining forecasts aligned with the IAT Divisional Strategy. You will ensure full coverage of our customers in Hyderabad - Telangana.

Main Responsibilities
  • Work independently in your assigned territory.
  • Promote and sell the Industrial Products Range.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers/OEMs at all organizational levels to foster good working relationships and identify business opportunities.
  • Conduct customer negotiations at all levels, involving managers when required, to win and maintain business.
  • Identify new customers for our Industrial Air range in Telangana.
  • Meet existing customers to understand their current and future requirements, aiming to maintain 100% customer share.
  • Focus on replacement business on old installations.
  • Coordinate with dealers in the assigned territory to achieve sales objectives and explore new distribution channels based on market potential.
  • Manage sales to meet targets, close deals, and present the full range of Industrial Air compressors.
  • Identify new opportunities and sell the entire product range of the Industrial Air Division, capturing market potential in Telangana.
  • Work on greenfield projects from initial stages, establishing contacts with project teams.
  • Report on competitive activities, market share, and customer perceptions to promote Atlas Copco's excellence.
  • Develop relationships with OEMs, EPC contractors, and consultants to promote products.
  • Participate in sales forecasting and budgeting.
  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams for support in securing customer orders.
  • Responsible for market share growth and volume increase.
  • Understand commercial terms and conditions effectively.
  • Report using SAP-based C4C system.
  • Gather market intelligence and report regularly on developments, competition, and feedback.
  • Perform duties aligned with Atlas Copco standards, focusing on customer needs and expectations.
Qualifications
  • Technical Degree (B.E., B.Tech); Master's in Business is advantageous.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of relevant sales experience in Hyderabad or Telangana region, particularly in compressor products or capital goods.
  • Strong product and application knowledge of compressed air solutions.
  • Good IT skills and willingness to learn new systems.
  • Skills in value selling, negotiation, relationship building, and sales execution.
  • Commercial and technical competence, high motivation, and customer sensitivity.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and local language.
  • Self-motivated, team-oriented, with a strong business understanding and knowledge of competitors' activities.
  • Proactive problem solver with post-sale support capabilities.
