About The Role

The Digital Marketing Strategist position is part of the SI Partner Success team within the Business and Industry Copilots Group at Microsoft. This team supports the global partner channel for Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and Power Pages).

You will collaborate closely with the XIAD Ops program team, which organizes the Microsoft In a Day (XIAD) workshops—full-day, hands-on learning events connecting Microsoft partners with customers.

Essential Functions
  1. Customer Engagement: Respond to customer emails and inquiries about workshop registrations to ensure a seamless experience.
  2. Partner Management: Support partner recruitment, onboarding, communication, retention, conduct reviews, and assist with their success and challenges.
  3. Event Planning & Management: Plan workshops based on product type, adjust schedules, and coordinate logistics.
  4. Data Analysis & Follow-Up: Analyze event reports, extract insights, and follow up with partners to ensure program adherence.
  5. Content Development: Create presentations and lead office hour sessions to educate and engage partners.
  6. Quality Assurance: Test event operations, templates, new formats, and tools for performance and consistency.
  7. Resource Management: Maintain and update key resources and documentation for internal teams and external partners.
Required Skills
  1. Communication: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  2. Relationship Management: Experience in partner or customer-facing roles, such as Partner Success Manager.
  3. Organizational Skills: Strong multitasking, time management, attention to detail, and follow-through.
  4. Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
  5. Presentation Skills: Ability to develop and deliver engaging presentations.
  6. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  7. Collaboration: Effective working independently and with cross-functional teams.
  8. Work Hours: Comfortable working 3–4+ hours during Pacific Time business hours.
  9. Preferred Experience:
  • Prior experience at Microsoft or within the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
  • Knowledge of partner channel dynamics and event operations.
