1. Provide physiotherapy services to in-patient and out-patient departments for pediatrics and adults, including orthopedics, spinal injuries, cardiac patients, general surgery, medicine rehabilitation, and amputee rehabilitation.
2. Assess patients using clinical reasoning and manual assessment techniques to diagnose their condition.
3. Develop management strategies, recommend interventions, and create discharge plans.
4. Evaluate patient progress, reassess, and modify treatment programs as needed, fostering reflective practice.
5. Manage and treat patients with specific conditions under the delegated responsibility of senior colleagues within each rotation.
6. Communicate effectively with patients of all ages, addressing physical and psychological barriers.
7. Participate in emergency duty rota, assessing and treating acutely ill patients with respiratory issues and multiple pathologies.
8. Maintain accurate records independently.
9. Educate patients, families, and the community on injury prevention and healthy lifestyles.
10. Collaborate with doctors for referrals, notes, and medical history.
11. Oversee patient care activities at the male and female gym in collaboration with P&Os.
12. Identify and conduct training for pre-prosthetic and pre-orthotic needs.
13. Supervise physiotherapy assistants.
