Position Overview

As an Experienced Medical Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for accurately processing claims, following up on denials, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations, and optimizing the revenue cycle. You will work with a highly skilled team in a fast-paced environment, providing essential support to healthcare providers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Accurately and efficiently manage medical billing for various healthcare providers.
  • Process claims, follow up on denials, and ensure timely resolution of billing issues.
  • Verify insurance information and ensure proper coding of medical procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance policies, healthcare regulations, and billing software.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
Key Qualifications
  • Proven experience in medical billing, with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS), insurance policies, and healthcare regulations.
  • Proficiency with medical billing software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
