Responsibilities

You will be responsible for supporting the Division of Nursing Services in the governance, strategic and operational tasks, contributing to overall work strategies and processes. Your goal will be to optimize nursing care delivery by improving clinical workflow efficiency, enhancing patient care quality, implementing evidenced-based practices, integrating technology and supporting data-driven decision-making.

You will be responsible to:

  • conduct unit rounds and perform audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
  • calculate and monitor unit-wise nursing staffing based on occupancy and benchmarking for on-campus, off-campus hospitals and outreach health network
  • develop and implement processes to enhance clinical operations and practices for ongoing quality improvement and translate into quality projects
  • collecting data, prepare, review, and manage documents, reports, and presentations and track progress on various projects and initiatives.
  • ensure effective communication of important information and updates from the CNO's office to relevant teams, coordinate activities and events, act as a liaison between the division and other departments, staff, and external stakeholders
  • provide clinical and administrative support to nursing teams as directed by the CNO
  • assist with recruitment processes, onboard new management staff, and maintain personnel records
  • support or lead special projects or initiatives as directed by the CNO
  • maintain records, and other information systems used by the CNO's office, manage dashboards, ensure efficiency and troubleshooting.

You should have:

  • Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from an accredited degree programme, preferably a Master's degree in the same
  • at least ten years of nursing experience, preferably with five years of nursing administrative experience
  • clinical expertise with in-depth understanding of nursing practice, patient care standards and clinical protocols
  • excellent command on healthcare administration, organizational behavior, resource and financial management, leveraging use of technology and understanding of data and digital health tools
  • excellent interpersonal skills, particularly ability to lead and motivate multidisciplinary teams having strategic thinking and operational tactics
  • ability to work under-pressure, handle multiple projects at a time and meet stringent deadlines
  • ability to tactfully resolve complex issues, make appropriate and timely decisions, and communicate decisions to the concerned
  • familiarity with care coordination models, principles, and best practices aimed at improving care transitions, enhancing patient outcomes, and reducing healthcare costs
  • facilitate a collaborative interdisciplinary approach to achieve optimal patient care outcomes
