Overview

Are you passionate about building scalable, healthcare-grade web applications using Microsoft technologies? We are seeking an experienced ASP.NET MVC Developer with a strong background in EMR/EHR systems to join our development team. You'll help modernize healthcare software and build mission-critical solutions for providers, clinics, and health systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using ASP.NET MVC and C#
  • Work on healthcare-specific modules such as patient records, scheduling, clinical workflows, billing, and charting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EMR/EHR functionalities, including HL7, FHIR, or custom healthcare APIs
  • Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code using design patterns and industry best practices
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize performance with a focus on HIPAA-compliant healthcare systems
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience developing ASP.NET MVC applications
  • Strong experience working with EMR/EHR systems or healthcare IT platforms (e.g., custom EMRs, Epic, Cerner, Meditech, NextGen, or similar)
  • Proficiency with .NET Framework, .NET Core, or .NET 6/7+
  • Experience integrating healthcare data standards such as HL7, FHIR, or CCD/C-CDA
  • Solid understanding of HIPAA compliance and secure data handling
  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server and Entity Framework
  • Version control experience with Git or similar tools
  • Understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and software design patterns
  • Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
  • Experience with Angular or React (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Bonus Skills (Preferred)
  • Prior experience with medical billing systems, insurance eligibility checks, or patient portal features
  • Familiarity with EDI, X12, or HL7 interface engines
  • Background in healthcare workflows, clinical decision support, or reporting modules
