We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.
In this role, you will:
Responsibilities- Undertake System/System Integration Testing with a pool of Senior Test Analysts/Test Analysts who test changes and enhancements to IT systems; predominantly conducted on Banking systems using BDD framework, to ensure that these changes have the effect intended by the Business.
- Provide estimation of requirements, devise test strategy, review test plan, map requirements, conduct reviews for artifacts, manage execution, defect reporting until closure, and adhere to testing processes established at Enterprise Technology with a high quality level and Business Continuity considerations.
- Participate during project initiation, understand requirements, prepare/assist in test estimation, formulate test strategy or Test Plan.
- Allocate tasks and monitor progress, coordinate and manage test schedules.
- Coordinate with Project Manager about the Test environment, prepare test bed and test data for execution.
- Conduct reviews and inspections of test deliverables and provide feedback to the team.
- Execute tests, track and monitor defects to closure and produce test metrics and test reports (DSR/WSR) for stakeholders.
- Be responsible for Test Automation (BDD) adoption as per Enterprise Technology Strategy, preferably using Cucumber on top of Selenium (Cucumber for Appian framework).
- Have a thorough understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, GitHub and implement accordingly in all projects.
- Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to test quality.
- Implement creative and innovative ways of testing to meet project goals without compromising quality.
- Proactively identify potential delivery-related issues and arrive at mitigation plans.
- Provide suggestions/feedback to refine testing practices and methodologies.
- As a CB enabler, drive projects for value streams and support them comfortably; understand Agile concepts, SAFe framework or Scrum framework.
- Capture reusability for a project from BST & Automation perspectives to showcase savings.
- Able to conduct performance testing with expertise in JMeter.
- Coordinate with involved teams and provide support to all interfacing applications/systems impacted by the project.
- Ensure constructive working relationships within the team and with other functional groups.
- Ensure compliance with laid-down organization-wide processes and operations guidelines.
