Position Community Investment Officer

Location Nokkundi - Balochistan

Qualification
  • BS/MS or Master's degree in Community Development, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in community development, social impact assessment, or corporate social responsibility (CSR) within the mining or development sector.
  • Proven experience in supervising projects related to Education, Health, Water, Environment, Food Security, Livelihood, and Economic Development.

Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of grant management, project development, and implementation.
  • Experience in monitoring & evaluation (M&E), financial analysis, and budget management related to community investments.
  • Understanding of stakeholder engagement, conflict resolution, and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, report writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of the best international practices in CSR, ESG, and sustainable development.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of Education, Health, Water, Environment, Food Security, Livelihood, and Economic Development programs to ensure sustainability and measurable impact.
  • Develop and implement monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) frameworks to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with government agencies, NGOs, and development partners to align RDMC's community investments with national and international development priorities.
  • Ensure that all community investment initiatives are aligned with international social responsibility frameworks (e.g., IFC Performance Standards, UN SDGs, ESG principles).
  • Identify gaps and propose innovative solutions to enhance the impact of RDMC's community development projects.
  • Conduct financial analysis of community investment budgets, ensuring efficient allocation of resources and compliance with financial guidelines.
  • Track and report on social and economic indicators, demonstrating the impact of RDMC's investments in community development.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven dashboards to communicate project progress and performance metrics.
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to compare RDMC's investment strategies with industry best practices.
  • Prepare comprehensive impact assessment reports for internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, investors, and community representatives.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of project activities, lessons learned, and success stories to inform future investment strategies.
  • Support RDMC's leadership in strategic decision-making regarding community investment initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant corporate social responsibility (CSR) and global reporting standards.
  • Perform any other duties as reasonably required to enhance the success of RDMC's community investment initiatives.
