We are looking to hire an experienced Maintenance Manager to join our existing team.

Organization: Hospitality/Restaurant

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all facilities, equipment, and systems are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations. You will oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, and improvements, ensuring that our restaurants remain fully operational and provide an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Facility Management: Oversee and coordinate all repairs and maintenance activities across multiple restaurant locations, including kitchen equipment, plumbing, lighting, and more.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment and facilities are operating efficiently and without interruptions.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure all restaurants adhere to local health, safety, and fire regulations; conduct regular inspections and audits.
  • Team Supervision: Manage, train, and schedule maintenance staff across different locations; coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions for repairs and preventive work; monitor and order necessary supplies and replacement parts.
  • Energy and Efficiency Management: Monitor and optimize utility consumption (energy, water, etc.), recommending sustainable and cost-saving measures.
  • Emergency Management: Be on-call to respond to emergency maintenance needs, minimizing downtime and disruption to restaurant operations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or similar role in the hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, plumbing, electrical, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a team across multiple locations.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in facility management.
  • Budgeting and financial planning experience related to maintenance operations.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to managing issues.
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with restaurant managers, staff, and external contractors.
