Confiz LLC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Finance Technology Delivery team as we intensify the pace of innovation and support future growth through technology solutions. The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for supporting mission-critical Integrations between source data with financial SaaS.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leads multidimensional projects that involve multiple teams.
  2. Leads and works with other software engineers on design best practices and conducts code reviews.
  3. Resolves complex engineering problems, collaborating with others.
  4. Facilitates cross functional troubleshooting, root cause analysis and engages others when needed.
  5. Responsible for creating, evaluating, and contributing to feature detailed designs.
  6. Design, develop, and implement software utilizing an agile project cycle.
  7. Mentor others on the team and raise the bar for technical knowledge across a wide spectrum.
  8. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of information technology concepts issues, trends and best practices as they relate to Cloud technologies and system integrations.
  9. Apply and share knowledge of security coding practices and secure system fundamentals.
  10. This role involves working in rotational shifts. Shift timings may vary based on business needs.
  11. Employees are required to complete a proper handover at the end of their shift to ensure smooth workflow continuity.
  12. Coordination with the next shift team member is essential for task updates and seamless transition.
  13. Flexibility to adjust shift timings when needed is expected.

Requirements:

  1. Strong proficiency in Apache Airflow, workflow orchestration and Scheduling.
  2. Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  3. Hands-on experience in integrating Oracle EBS with Airflow, including working with APIs, stored procedures, and direct database access.
  4. Proficiency in containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  5. Expertise in Airflow DAGs, task dependencies, sensors, hooks, and operators.
  6. Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines and scheduling optimization.
  7. Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.) and proficiency in writing efficient SQL queries and stored procedures.
  8. Experience working with Containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) for Airflow.
  9. Familiarity with Airflow Security configurations, logging and monitoring.
  10. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for Airflow DAG deployments.
  11. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  12. 5+ years of professional experience in backend development, preferably in enterprise or high-scale environments.
  13. Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
