Your role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Front-End Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining responsive and accessible user interfaces for our web applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, and HTML5, with expertise in front-end frameworks such as React. Additionally, you should possess a deep understanding of ADA compliance, performance optimization techniques, OWASP security principles, and interfacing with REST APIs.

Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and back-end developers to translate UI/UX design wireframes into high-quality code.
2. Develop responsive and accessible web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a focus on cross-browser compatibility and ADA compliance.
3. Implement front-end logic and business logic using JavaScript, following best practices and design patterns.
4. Utilize front-end frameworks such as jQuery, React, or Vue.js to build interactive user interfaces and single-page applications.
5. Optimize application performance by implementing efficient coding techniques, lazy loading, and code splitting.
6. Ensure the security of web applications by following OWASP security principles and integrating security controls into the front-end code.
7. Interface with RESTful APIs to fetch and manipulate data, handle authentication, and manage state in the client-side application.
8. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to ensure code quality, readability, and maintainability.
9. Stay updated on the latest front-end development trends, tools, and technologies, and share knowledge with the team.
10. Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by users or identified during testing and implement timely solutions.

What you need

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
2. Proven experience as a Front-End Developer, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on web applications and interfaces.
3. Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a solid understanding of DOM manipulation and event handling.
4. Experience with front-end frameworks such as jQuery, React, or Vue.js, including state management libraries like Redux or NgRx.
5. Expertise in C# .NET Core development, with a strong understanding of asynchronous programming.
6. Knowledge of ADA compliance standards and best practices for creating accessible web applications.
7. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including lazy loading, code splitting, and browser rendering optimizations.
8. Understanding of OWASP security principles and common vulnerabilities, with experience implementing security controls in front-end code.
9. Proficiency in interfacing with RESTful APIs, handling asynchronous operations, and managing data in client-side applications.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to debug complex issues and implement effective solutions.
11. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders.
