Title: Data Entry / Process Associate

Business unit: GS Shared Service Centre

Location: Islamabad, Pakistan

Role Purpose Statement:

  • The job incumbent is responsible for processing documents according to the requirements of different programs/processes.
  • The incumbent will work according to the required time zone to support the GS business units.
  • He/She performs duties within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, BV HSE Requirements, the Code of Ethics, and the BV Group policy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

General Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensuring the performance of the scope of work in accordance with each program's requirements and process requirements.
  • Checking all received documents and emails, and processing them as per specific program or process requirements.
  • Verifying all details in alignment with process requirements.
  • Reporting discrepancies and following up with the concerned team for resolution.
  • Updating discrepancies during file processing.
  • Performing operational duties as required and supporting colleagues/teams as needed.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities under RFC/RFI Creation:

  • Reviewing requests with pro forma invoices received from GS Business Units.
  • Creating or completing RFC/RFI as applicable.
  • Capturing details from ID forms or pro forma invoices in Siebel.
  • Assigning RFC/RFI to the appropriate issuing office.
  • Communicating with GS Business Units for queries on received files.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities under RFC/RFI Validation:

  • Checking received documents and activating new importers/exporters in temporary status.
  • Validating key data fields as per instructions.
  • Setting RFC/RFI status as 'Temp. exporter', 'Pending', or 'Not Inspectable' as instructed.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities under Inspection Report Update:

  • Checking inspection report details against process checklists.
  • Updating details in Siebel.
  • Sending system-generated emails to exporters for final document submission as applicable.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities under Shipment Product Update:

  • Entering product data based on inspection reports and final documents using the bulk loading template.
  • Seeking clarification on discrepancies and updating comments and status in Siebel.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Recent graduates with the required speed and accuracy (35-40 wpm, 95%+ accuracy)

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Good typing speed (35-40 wpm) with high accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Analytical and logical thinking skills.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
