About the Role:

We're looking for a self-motivated, hands-on Senior React Native Developer who has learned by doing — not just in theory but through real-world projects. You should have a strong foundation in mobile app development, a proven ability to build and scale applications from scratch, and a drive to stay up to date with the latest tech.

You'll play a critical role in developing robust and scalable cross-platform mobile apps. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributes to decision-making, and leads by example.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain, and scale cross-platform mobile applications using React Native for iOS and Android.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Integrate with RESTful APIs, Firebase, and third-party libraries.
  • Optimize performance, user experience, and app reliability.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, provide technical input, and help guide junior team members.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and modular code using modern JavaScript and TypeScript best practices.
  • Debug and fix production issues with urgency and accuracy.
  • Stay on top of emerging trends in the mobile development space and proactively implement improvements.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of solid, hands-on experience in mobile development using React Native.
  • Self-learner with a strong portfolio of real-world projects or production apps.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React ecosystem (Hooks, Context API).
  • Experience with deployment on App Store and Google Play.
  • Familiarity with native build tools: Xcode, Android Studio, Gradle, etc.
  • Solid grasp of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Experience with state management libraries like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.
  • Skilled in using Git and managing version control.
  • Familiarity with Firebase integration, analytics tools, and third-party SDKs.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools, CodePush, Fastlane, or similar deployment automation tools.
  • Familiarity with native modules or bridging between React Native and native code.
  • Experience with push notifications, deep linking, and app lifecycle management.
  • Background in mentoring or guiding junior developers.
  • Basic knowledge of native development (Swift, Kotlin/Java) is a plus.
