Position: Junior Accountant (Accounting/Audit Firm Experienced)Job Description

Applicants should ideally be CA qualified with at least 1 year of practice experience or be ACCA/CIMA Part-Qualified.

Responsibilities
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Matching, coding, and processing purchase and sales invoices.
  • Maintaining debtor balances within targets and reconciling customer accounts periodically; reconciling AR balances to control accounts.
  • Resolving customer and supplier queries; implementing controls to minimize queries; managing staff expenses and ensuring policy adherence; reconciling suppliers' statements; processing BACS payments; distributing remittance advices; daily reconciliation of all banks including credit cards; reconciling bank balances to control accounts.
  • Reporting: Producing daily and weekly reports; preparing monthly management accounts; leading monthly balance sheet reviews.
  • System Implementations, Compliance & Training: Implementing accounting systems; training junior colleagues; assisting London-based accountants with external reporting (HMRC, Companies House); supporting compliance audits; identifying opportunities to improve financial reporting, internal controls, policies, and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
  • Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with a minimum of 1+ years of experience.
  • Ability to provide end-to-end client support independently.
  • Experience in implementing accounting systems.
  • Proficiency in financial and management accounting and controls.
  • Excellent IT skills, including advanced Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Self-management experience.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented with a proactive attitude.
Additional Details

Experience: 1+ years
Work Timings: 1 pm to 9 pm (UK 9 am - 5 pm)
Work Days: Monday - Friday
Location: Lahore - Onsite
Salary: Market Competitive
