As a Lead AI Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our AI-driven products. Your primary focus will be on leading the development and optimization of our NLP-centric knowledge discovery tool. You will lead a dynamic team of AI professionals, guiding them through complex AI challenges, fostering innovation, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and impactful AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the AI team in designing, developing, and deploying advanced NLP models and AI-driven features for our knowledge discovery tool.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into robust AI solutions.
  • Drive the adoption of best practices in AI, machine learning, and software development within the team.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and NLP technologies and methodologies and evaluate their applicability to our product.
  • Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead the technical roadmap for AI, ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and business goals.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of AI solutions, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  • Engage with industrial clients to gather feedback and insights, using them to enhance the product continuously.
Requirements
  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven expertise in NLP and knowledge discovery algorithms and frameworks.
  • Strong experience in developing and deploying AI solutions in a production environment.
  • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, and familiar with AI/ML development tools and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Hand's on knowhow of langchain or other such tools wouldbe a plus.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in working with industrial clients and understanding their unique needs and challenges is a plus.
