We are looking for an experienced Wordpress & Shopify Website Developer based in the Charlotte NC area.

Have to have:

  • Experience, deep understanding, and enthusiasm for website development
  • Highly Proficient in WordPress & Shopify CMS
  • Proficient in Adobe Suite & Figma
  • Creative Eye
  • CSS, Java, PHP, and related coding experience and knowledge

We are looking for a long-term on-call relationship that could develop into a full-time position. You will be working in a flexible & creative environment with good people who share your passion and creative drive.

Duties:

  • Quickly develop websites based on design files and enhance design for optimal UI/UX, interactivity, and functionality.
  • Develop WordPress and Shopify websites within the CMS.
  • Meet all deadlines set by the account manager.
  • Stay within budget and track all time in project management software.
  • Assist the team with brainstorming, marketing, and advertising concepts.
  • Maintain organized client file archives.
  • Think creatively, execute with grace, talent, and speed.
  • Incorporate a wide range of media, including photography and video, to produce work.
  • Contribute ideas and design artwork for client projects.
  • Stay updated on coding & technologies in new media, WordPress, Shopify, CSS, HTML, JAVA, MySQL, PHP, Adobe Suite.
  • Communicate any problems or suggestions to the appropriate parties.
  • Participate in the creative process for clients from concept to completion.
  • Work on a range of ongoing projects that are creative, fresh, and on-brand.
  • Understand client's business & communication goals and translate them into unique creative solutions.
  • Demonstrate understanding of messaging and copy, telling complex stories visually and verbally.
  • Experience working within hosting environments such as Hostgator and GoDaddy, including monitoring bandwidth usage and security.
  • Comfortable using G Suite.
  • Experience with Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.
  • Experience using Google DataStudio.
  • Develop concepts for website design, development, backend analytics, and on-page SEO optimization.
