JiBe is a cloud based fully integrated ERP system for the shipping industry. Our goal is to allow shipping companies to improve productivity, efficiency and safety levels, while reducing costs. JiBe ERP enables increased automation and streamlining of processes, creating pre-defined work flows and reducing the usage of email and paper.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide Data Analytics Platform and a function for all Web application in existing and upcoming projects. Data Analyst will turn data into information and information into insight to help drive decisions.
  • Extracts data from a variety of sources for use in analysis and models; completes ad-hoc reporting and data analysis.
  • Identify relevant data, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Analyze and generate actionable insights from structured and unstructured data (to be included) and effectively communicate findings and solutions with various groups
  • Perform routine reporting and ad hoc analysis of operational metric and other management reports
  • Assist with developing and using statistical modelling
  • Data scientists will be responsible for building and implementing next generation predictive models leveraging traditional and non-traditional data.
  • In addition, data scientists will be responsible for evaluating multiple machine learning and regression techniques for specific use cases.
  • Data Scientists will work closely with internal stakeholders and be able to implement analytical solutions to drive higher ROI.
  • Data scientists will interact and at times work with external partners in the industry to ensure he/she remains abreast with the knowledge in analytics domain

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technologies
  • 2+ years' professional experience
  • Advanced analytical knowledge of data
  • Developing software and data models
  • Executing predictive analytics
  • Familiarity with reporting tools
  • Proficient with one or more programming languages (Python, R, etc.)
