• Check and prepare correct artworks for Studio
• Provide design & effect consultancy to the Customers
• Support Sales team in terms of Thales Portfolio
• Become a communication bridge between Customer and Studio
• Share updates about new requirements and scheme branding with Customer Service team & Customers
• Create card designs from scratch
• Support Corporate team with designs for Thales products

Main Responsibilities

Design Support & Consultancy Services

Artwork Designer presents Thales portfolio and provides recommendation to customers about card designs & effects:

• Work with customer at the artwork preparation stage, propose alternatives in terms of integrating Thales manufacturing feasibility, Studio requirements and Schemes branding;
• Provide design recommendations and advice on potential effects for design enhancement, define artwork samples;
• Liaise with customers on regular basis via email & tele-conversation; travel to customer premises; inform them about latest updates in Thales requirements and Scheme regulations;
• Support customers in files' conversion and potential additional amendments;
• Present to customers the Thales portfolio of products, innovative plastics, effects and options.

Design Studio Services

Artwork Designer checks customers' artworks and prepares them for the Studio:

• Check design input files according to Thales printing and production capabilities and with Payment Schemes branding guidelines.
• Integrate artworks into Thales standardized graphical templates, provide executable files and synchronize customer's expectations with Studio.

New Design Services

Artwork Designer provides new card designs for customers:

• Create a new artwork design based on the customer's Design Creative Brief and Branding guidelines.
• Create from scratch the printing files from the sample, provided by the customer, integrating Thales printing conditions to match the sample card as closely as possible.

Thales Teams Relationship

Artwork Designer maintains all interfaces with the respective Thales BPS teams, actively builds and maintains good working relationships, provides necessary support for:

• Answer Sales Team's questions about artworks feasibility, Studio and Scheme requirements;
• Design consultancy support during Sales' meetings with customers by presenting Thales Portfolio and during design conceptualization;
• Guidance to CS Team during interactions with customers on artworks feasibility and expert support on the Studio requests;
• Provide to the Studio teams executable files, explain customer's expectations about final result and discuss alternative options; facilitate communication with Sales and CS about Studio and Scheme requirements;
• Liaise with the Product Marketing Team regarding the Thales Portfolio, provide feedback and requests from customers about innovative card bodies and effects, support in design creation for new Thales products;
• Effectively manage relationships with other Thales BPS teams regarding artwork designers' duties and responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design.

Skills

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Knowledge of Prepress
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of design principles and current design trends.
• Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
• Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines
• English Fluent; Russian/French nice to have

Requirements

• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of design work and creative projects

Experience

• At least 3 years working experience in the field of graphic design
• Project Management Experience

Personal abilities

• Customer and business oriented
• Ability and willingness to learn new techniques and tools
• Organized, rigorous and autonomous
