What You'll Do

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven, analytical, and technically sound professional to contribute to our growing data and analytics team. As a Data Engineer – Azure & AI Integration, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing machine learning workflows, and ensuring a robust data architecture leveraging the Azure ecosystem.

ETL And Data Pipeline Development

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable ETL processes using Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse Analytics under the direction of the Data & Analytics Manager.
• Clean and transform raw data into reliable, analysis-ready datasets.
• Implement data quality checks and ensure data integrity across all stages of ETL workflows.
• Respond promptly to pipeline alerts, execute recovery steps, and participate in root cause analysis.

Machine Learning And AI Integration

• Build and maintain machine learning workflows using Azure Machine Learning.
• Collaborate with data analysts and scientists to operationalize machine learning models.
• Utilize AI and ML services to enhance ETL and data engineering operations.
• Integrate Azure Cognitive Services where applicable to support intelligent automation.

Data Architecture And Governance

• Implement robust data models using Azure SQL Database based on requirements from the Data & Analytics Manager.
• Manage cloud-based storage solutions, including Azure Data Lake Storage, ensuring secure and optimized data access.
• Maintain adherence to data governance policies, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Partner with the analytics team to deliver reusable and scalable data components for business insights.

What You Know

• Strong expertise in ETL development, particularly using Azure Data Factory.
• Deep knowledge of SQL for complex querying, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, transformation, and machine learning integration.
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts and practical use of Azure Machine Learning.
• Understanding of data modeling techniques and implementation of scalable solutions.
• Experience with Azure Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of Azure Cognitive Services for AI-driven enhancements (nice to have).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering or AI Engineering are a strong plus.

Education
