Job Description:

We are hiring an experienced Patient Support and Prior Authorization Specialist for our night shift team. This role requires a strong background in handling US medical prior authorizations for procedures, imaging, or medications. Candidates without prior authorization experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Submit, track, and follow up on prior authorization requests with insurance companies.
  • Communicate with providers, payers, and pharmacies to ensure timely approvals.
  • Handle patient inquiries regarding insurance and authorization statuses.
  • Verify insurance coverage and benefits accurately.
  • Document all activities clearly in EHR/EMR systems.
  • Maintain HIPAA compliance and data confidentiality.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with prior authorizations (required).
  • Knowledge of US insurance plans (commercial, Medicare, Medicaid).
  • Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently.
  • Must be available to work night shifts (US business hours).
