Our Client a Toronto-based provider of Cloud Communication, Collaboration, and IT services for small and medium-sized businesses across Canada and the USA. We are seeking a proactive Sales Executive who excels in prospecting and lead generation, has excellent language skills, a technical background, and a proven record in sales and customer service success.
This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with significant growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Proactively Identify and Engage Prospects:
- Seek and connect with potential clients through chat, email, and phone, not just marketing leads.
- Leverage Social Media for Lead Generation:
- Use platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, X, and Instagram to find and engage leads.
- Design and execute strategies to build a strong, diverse sales funnel through outreach and networking.
- Build and Nurture Relationships:
- Establish trust with prospects and maintain regular contact to strengthen rapport.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of our Unified Communication and Cloud services to better communicate value.
- Create Tailored Proposals:
- Prepare custom proposals and bids that address specific client needs and showcase our solutions.
- Conduct Product Demonstrations:
- Present engaging demos of our services to highlight features and benefits.
- Stay Informed on Industry Trends:
- Track market trends, competitors, and emerging technologies for new opportunities.
- Follow Up Proactively:
- Actively follow up on all leads and opportunities to ensure maximum conversion.
- Use HubSpot CRM to manage the entire sales process and maintain organized client records.
- Collaborate with the Order Desk:
- Work with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and issue resolution.
- Cultivate Existing Relationships:
- Maintain and grow relationships with current clients, promoting cross-sells, upsells, and referrals.
- Manage Contract Renewals:
- Oversee timely contract/license renewals, addressing any client concerns.
- Express Appreciation:
- Send thank-you messages and encourage reviews/feedback post-order completion.
Requirements
- Self-Motivated and Independent:
- Must be presentable, personable, and capable of working independently without supervision.
- Prior sales experience in Cloud Solutions, Managed Services, or VoIP/IP PBX is highly preferred, with a focus on self-generated leads.
- Technical Communication Skills:
- Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Educational Background:
- Relevant education and certifications in business, sales, or technical fields.
- Excellent English (spoken and written) is required. French is a strong asset.
- Availability:
- Must be available to work during US/Canada Eastern Time business hours (EST/EDT).
