Location: Sukkur

Education: Bachelor's/Master's in Social Sciences/Gender Studies/Economics/Education

Experience: 3-5 years' experience in academics, teachers training and professional development.

Job Description
  • Ensure School Improvement and Academic Activities Implementation in all ITA schools in Sukkur, Ghotki and Shikarpur region.
  • Ensure effective management to complete documentation and record keeping of all schools (students profiles, teachers profiles, attendance, school registration, GR register, lesson plans, etc.).
  • Ensure delivery of quality education in schools by providing daily feedback on school management and classroom observations.
  • Provide feedback to teachers on their teaching practices and develop a mechanism to ensure teacher continuous professional development (CPD).
  • Track students' learning outcomes through regular assessment and plan alternative remedial and accelerated learning camps for the students.
  • Build strong relationships with the community for smooth implementation of activities.
  • Develop School visit reports and School Improvement Plans.
  • Conduct teachers' needs assessments and plan training for the teachers and head teachers.
  • Ensure effective implementation of policies and procedures; ensure district teams and schools are in compliance with all SOPs and policies.
  • Develop lesson plans, syllabus break-ups, and monthly plans. Build capacity of teachers and head teachers on it.
  • Develop Teaching and Learning material and conduct teaching and learning activities at school.
  • Look after daily routine and proper functioning of school; resolve internal school issues (School management and administration).
  • Conduct community meetings.
  • Provision of learning material to schools.
  • Contribute in developing training manuals/pre-testing and finalizing; inputs to newsletters/publications.
Skills
  • The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent documentation abilities.
  • A proven track record in delivering quality education, effective classroom observations, and providing feedback is essential.
  • Experience in teacher development, community engagement, and creating lesson plans and teaching materials is required.
  • Strong communication skills and adherence to policies and procedures are crucial.
