Summary

We are looking for an Innovation & Imports Planner who will play a pivotal role in delivering Beauty & Wellbeing products that are irresistibly superior and offer great value. In this role, you will contribute to key initiatives, ensuring the successful execution of New Product Development, Value Improvement Projects, and other cross-functional projects aligned with our business strategy.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, and manage full project plans with input from functional experts and delivery of assigned projects On-Time and in-Full (OTIF)
    • Provide Product Development Team with visibility of project status and effective and timely mile-stones of decisions required to drive OTIF
      • Act in close collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, and Sourcing Units Implementation Teams to ensure seamless project execution while proactively managing project issues, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
        • Create/manage networks and lead all assigned projects, including NPD, promotions, artworks update, and other operational initiatives while managing projects to very tight timescales.
          • Develop and manage detailed project plans, identifying risks, mitigation strategies, and contingency plans.
            • Work in close coordination with supply and distribution planners to ensure timely material ordering and production planning.
              • Facilitate cross-functional taskforce meetings, ensuring decisions and actions including task completion and project milestones are clearly communicated
                • Working with Unilever global teams to ensure a customer focus in both the delivery of innovation projects and implementation of best practice, ensuring end to end supply chain costs are minimised.
                  • Develop a detailed network for all import projects and incorporate inputs from all functions and sourcing units.
                    • Coordinate with sourcing units to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of goods.
                      • Work in close collaboration with Marketing, Supply Chain, R&D, Finance, legal and Sourcing Units Implementation Teams to ensure the right specification, pricing, legal requirements are fulfilled.
                        • Track shipments and manage logistics to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications & Experience required

  • Minimum 2 year's experience of Supply Chain/Logistics function (ideally FMCG)
  • Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. Reputed University like IBA,SZABIST, NUST,Ziauddin etc.
  • Demonstrated ability in project management and cross-functional team working.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, especially Excel/MS Project and SAP.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Incoterms, HS codes, customs clearance requirement, import documentation.
