Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or Business Administration with 4–5 years of banking experience, including at least 2 years in branch operations leadership. Prior experience in microfinance banking is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

Branch Operations Oversight

  • Conduct scheduled and surprise visits to branches and SCs to assess service quality and operational compliance.
  • Verify cash (till, vault, ATM) and collateral balances with system records.
  • Audit branch registers (DTLs, cheque books, PDCs, key logs, etc.) for accuracy and completeness.
  • Analyze operational data and reports to identify inconsistencies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor key KPIs including account mismatches, clearing delays, and suspense accounts.
  • Ensure accurate and timely GL reconciliation.
  • Evaluate monthly performance of operations staff.

Policy Implementation & Compliance

  • Ensure branch compliance with bank policies and SBP regulations.
  • Lead implementation of new/revised processes and systems.
  • Provide feedback to improve processes and escalate high-risk issues.
  • Conduct policy compliance checks and support audit preparations.

Staff Development

  • Coach and train operations staff through on-site sessions and mentoring.
  • Ensure staff rotation and functional backups as per policy.
  • Identify training needs and recommend appropriate interventions.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations.

Service Quality

  • Ensure branches meet service benchmarks, TAT targets, and mystery shopping standards.
  • Monitor complaint handling and resolution timelines.
  • Promote a culture of fairness and customer-centric service.

General Administration

  • Oversee branch safety, security, and infrastructure upkeep.
  • Coordinate logistics, repairs, and maintenance with Head Office.
