Requirements
  • ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA qualified or pursuing.
  • Proficient in VAT and Tax Computations.
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in an accounting firm.
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting standards.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Familiar with quality standards, quality assurance policies, and procedures.
  • Proficient in English.
Responsibilities
  • Interact proactively with clients to address inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to understand their financial situations.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Recommend financial products and services aligned with clients' needs.
  • Advise clients on laws related to VAT, CT, AML, ESR, UBO, etc.
  • Stay updated with tax laws and regulations, providing current guidance to clients.
  • Assist clients in understanding and meeting tax and compliance requirements to minimize penalties.
  • Calculate taxes owed, following tax codes and regulations meticulously.
  • Prepare a range of tax returns for individuals and small businesses.
  • Help clients leverage tax codes to maximize benefits.
  • Identify deductions and credits; advise on minimizing liabilities.
  • Oversee VAT and CT registration requirements and thresholds.
  • Verify past tax returns and reconcile records regularly.
  • Refer to tax law handbooks for complex returns to ensure compliance.
  • Manage bookkeeping tasks, including payables and receivables.
  • Maintain Petty Cash and coordinate bank deposits.
  • Keep accurate records of client accounts.
  • Review financial records, including income statements and expenditures.
  • Update financial trackers and databases regularly.
  • Ensure tracking systems are accurate and accessible.
  • Use electronic filing software for tax returns.
  • Provide clients with copies of their completed tax returns.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly reports for management.
