About The Division

About The Position

We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team for a permanent full-time position. As an experienced Accountant, you will be working with the onshore and offshore teams on overall finance functions for several business units in the Carina portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead a team in Karachi office responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reports and processes for multiple Carina Software business units and closely working with the onshore team, including:

• Accounts receivable and payable, General Ledger, month-end close functions in accordance with accounting policies
• Prepare, reconcile and monitor invoices for clients from multiple entities in multiple currencies
• Bank account administration including reconciliations, payment runs and cash flow management.
• Recording of payroll and cross-charges.
• Sales tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
• monthly revenue and expenses accruals
• Quarterly disclosures and reconciliations
• Assistance in the budgeting and forecasting process
• Monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations and other management reports.
• Ad hoc tasks as required
  
  

• 6-10 years of experience in finance function (North American business is a plus).
• Qualified Professional Accountant from ACCA, CIMA or ICMA
• Knowledge of multi-currency transactions
• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
