Mysql Database And Restful Apis Developer

We are seeking a versatile and skilled professional to join our team as a MySQL Database developer & hands-on experience as RESTful API Developer. This role requires expertise in both MySQL databases and RESTful APIs, maintenance, testing and integration. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our database systems and creating efficient APIs that power our applications.

Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain and implement MySQL database that underpin our applications.
  2. Optimize database performance, addressing bottlenecks and ensuring data availability.
  3. Perform regular database backups, restores, and disaster recovery operations.
  4. Testing and ensuring successful database operations.
  5. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and incidents promptly.
  6. Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging trends in MySQL database management.
  7. Implement and maintain RESTful APIs that power our applications and services.
  8. Optimize APIs for performance, scalability, and security.
  9. Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance application functionality.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve API-related issues in a timely manner.
  11. Stay current with industry advancements and best practices in API development.
Minimum Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  2. 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs and MySQL database development and operations.
  3. Experience with programming languages, such as Java and C++.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
