Job description:
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the Fire Safety Lead for Food Solutions, working closely with Fire Safety Managers across business units to implement and sustain an effective Fire Safety Programme.
- Support security operations by contributing to the Food Solutions Security Management System.
- Fulfill duties as Fire Safety Manager and Security Manager for designated premises, advising on fire safety standards.
- Lead and drive fire safety initiatives across all Food Solutions Singapore sites, ensuring an aligned and tested Fire Safety Programme.
- Perform regular Fire Risk Assessments and recommend improvements.
- Provide security support for local aviation and physical security operations, working with security providers.
- Guide Business Units on security procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage performance metrics and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Support incident management, inspections, audits, investigations, and maintain relationships with government and security professionals.
- Assist in safety data management and other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in Facilities Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Building, or equivalent.
- FSM Certificate registered with SCDF with at least 3 years of experience as an FSM for manufacturing facilities; experience with food processing plants is advantageous.
- 2-3 years of experience in corporate security management; aviation sector experience is advantageous.
- Meticulous with data and statistics, able to work independently and in a team.
- Open-minded, good decision-making skills, and experienced in incident investigation and using online systems and Microsoft programs.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
