As a Senior Software Engineer – iOS at Wego, you will lead the design and development of world-class iOS features that power the travel journeys of millions. What You'll Do

  1. Design, implement, and ship robust, scalable iOS features using Swift and Apple's development ecosystem.
  2. Partner closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to craft seamless user journeys.
  3. Leverage Cursor, Wego's primary AI development environment, to accelerate coding and refactoring tasks.
  4. Conduct code reviews, maintain high test coverage, and drive software quality best practices.
  5. Debug and optimize performance issues on iOS devices using profiling tools and logging.
  6. Collaborate in architectural discussions, balancing innovation, maintainability, and performance.
  7. Mentor junior developers and lead by example in clean code practices and team collaboration.

Who We're Looking For?

  1. 5+ years of iOS development experience with strong command of Swift and iOS SDKs and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines
  2. Experience with iOS Frameworks like UIKit, SwiftUI.
  3. Experience delivering end-to-end mobile features in production.
  4. Familiarity with architectural patterns like MVVM.
  5. Practical experience using AI development tools (e.g., Cursor, Copilot agent mode) to enhance coding productivity and quality.
  6. Ability to verify AI-generated code critically, ensuring security, performance, and relevance.
  7. Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills.
  8. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Nice-to-Have

  1. Experience with Swift6, Concurrency, Combine, or cross-platform frameworks like React Native.
  2. Background in CI/CD, crash analytics, and mobile DevOps.
  3. Contributions to open-source projects or mobile tech blogs.
