At EY, we're all in to shape your future with confidence. Join Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) within Assurance to assist clients with accounting and financial reporting challenges and to help build a stronger and more efficient finance function.
Your key responsibilities- Perform review and analysis to identify improvement opportunities related to finance processes, automation, financial reporting, controls and governance. This includes identifying and organising findings from the review, analysing root causes, providing solutions, and supporting the implementation of proposed solutions.
- Leverage analytical or digital techniques to drive value, produce meaningful business information, and highlight potential areas of non-compliance or anomalies.
- Assess the requirements of accounting standards, determine change impact, and consider implementation implications for clients.
- Contribute to planning and execution of project delivery and business development activities, including development of proposals and ensuring compliance with quality and risk management requirements.
- Conduct research and benchmarking on significant industry advancements to keep clients at the forefront of leading practices.
- Create deliverables that meet or exceed client expectations while maintaining EY's high-quality standards.
- Engage with client personnel at appropriate levels, deliver quality work products and client services, and develop long-term client relationships.
- Develop relationships across EY practices to serve client needs and participate in business development, including proposal development and client relationship management.
- Coach and counsel junior team members and help develop a positive learning culture.
You will be closely participating in business development activities, understand the client's industry, and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and new technical developments.

- Ability to lead engagements and deliver quality results on time.
- Bachelors in Accounting / Finance or related field.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA or equivalent.
- 3–7 years in a Big 4 environment with significant experience with Banks and other financial service sector clients.
- In-depth understanding of IFRS and its application in financial reporting and analysis.
- Experience addressing complex accounting issues and developing accounting papers, including revenue recognition, financial instruments, and IFRS compliance.
- Preparation of IFRS-compliant financial statements and accounting policies and procedures.
- Ability to travel (0–50%).
