Timings: 2 PM - 11 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) Job Overview: VASL, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Bookkeeping Manager to oversee our bookkeeping operations for multiple US clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping and financial management, along with the skills to lead and supervise a team of bookkeepers. This role involves direct client interaction for reporting and customer success, ensuring smooth and efficient financial operations. Key Responsibilities: Bookkeeping & Financial Management:
  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, invoicing, payroll processing, and reconciliations for multiple clients.
  • Oversee cash flow management and reporting.
  • Handle project costing and financial reporting.
Team Management:
  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train bookkeepers/accountants and professional accounting staff in the finance department.
  • Supervise and lead a team of bookkeepers, providing guidance, support, and task assignments.
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the department.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of the team's work.
  • Provide constructive and timely performance evaluations

Client Interaction:
  • Attend client meetings for reporting purposes and to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, addressing any concerns and providing financial insights.
  • Operational Excellence:
  • Monitor and ensure smooth operation of all bookkeeping activities.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for bookkeeping processes.
Qualifications:
  • ACMA, ACCA, or CA finalist.
  • Experience working with US clients.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and standards in the US.
  • At least5-7 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience (preferably3-5 years of supervisory role experience required)
  • Proven experience in managing a team of bookkeepers.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, including cash flow management, project costing, Accounts Receivable/Payable, Invoicing, Payroll processing, and Reconciliations.
  • Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks Online (QBO)andXero.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
