Position: Senior Executive IT Software Engineering & DevOps

Reporting to: Assistant Manager DT Software Engineering & DevOps

Job Type: Permanent

Job Purpose:

To develop and maintain our Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management platform within the IaaS team. This includes deployment automation, event monitoring, and acting as a second level support for all platforms.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and maintain an advanced platform to manage Kubernetes clusters lifecycle
  2. Develop tools for automated build, test, deployment, and management of the platform
  3. Improve continuous integration and delivery systems
  4. Monitor system events to ensure health, maximum system availability, and service quality
  5. Perform system & application patching
  6. Maintain documentation regarding configurations, operations, and troubleshooting procedures
  7. Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, and best practices
  8. Work with Jenkins and CI tools to automate development, build, deployment, and testing
Eligibility Criteria (Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Skills):
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering from a well-renowned university is required.

  • Minimum experience of 5–6 years is required.

  • Expertise with Configuration Management (Ansible, SaltStack, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
  • Expertise with Monitoring (Prometheus, Sensu, etc.)
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux environments and Cloud infrastructures (OpenStack, AWS, Google, Azure, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Web Servers (Nginx, Apache, etc.)
  • Knowledge in RESTful API design and implementation
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments for large-scale enterprise applications
