Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications by identifying, documenting, and resolving defects before deployment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design, develop, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts
  2. Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
  3. Conduct cross-browser testing to ensure compatibility across multiple web browsers
  4. Perform load and performance testing to assess system stability and scalability
  5. Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  6. Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
  7. Work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure product quality
  8. Participate in requirement analysis and provide feedback on testability and potential risks
  9. Maintain test environments and ensure test data is properly managed
  10. Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and tools in software testing

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  2. 2-4+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
  3. Experience with cross-browser testing using tools like BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, or similar
  4. Familiarity with load and performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling
  5. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and best practices
  6. Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.)
  7. Hands-on experience with API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools
  8. Proficiency in writing test scripts in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or Python
  9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  10. Good understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Experience with mobile application testing (iOS, Android)
  2. Experience with security testing methodologies and tools
  3. ISTQB certification or equivalent
