Role Description

We are looking for a skilled Manual Quality Assurance Tester to join our team in Lahore. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manual testing processes, excellent analytical skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

1. Perform thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
2. Develop, document, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements.
3. Identify, document, and track software defects and ensure they are resolved.
4. Collaborate with software developers and project teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
5. Conduct regression testing to ensure existing functionalities remain unaffected by new updates.
6. Ensure the software meets functional, performance, usability, and security requirements.
7. Provide comprehensive test result documentation and reporting to stakeholders.
8. Work closely with the development team to perform root cause analysis of identified issues.
9. Participate in Agile development processes, such as sprint planning and daily stand-ups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Manual Quality Assurance Tester.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
• Experience in creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
• Solid skills in documenting test cases, defect reports, and overall testing activities.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
• Understanding of web and mobile application architecture and technology.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with automated testing tools (optional, but a plus).
• Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Agile development practices.
