About The Role

We're hiring a Junior CMS Developer with experience in custom WordPress and Shopify development. You will build, modify, and optimize client websites using custom themes, plugins, and components. Your responsibilities include converting Figma designs into functional storefronts and integrating dynamic features, ensuring solutions are clean, responsive, and scalable without relying on drag-and-drop builders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customize WordPress themes and plugins with PHP, ACF, and template logic
  • Build and edit Shopify stores using Liquid, JSON templates, and custom sections
  • Convert Figma/UI designs into responsive code
  • Implement custom features, filters, product logic, and checkout enhancements
  • Troubleshoot layout, functionality, or compatibility issues
  • Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO across devices
  • Integrate third-party tools, tracking scripts, and APIs
  • Manage updates via Git following structured workflows
  • Collaborate with designers and project leads on deliverables

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with custom WordPress development (not just page builders)
  • Solid knowledge of Shopify Liquid, theme structure, and product architecture
  • Ability to build responsive pages from Figma or other design tools
  • Understanding of collections, filters, metafields, and product templates
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
