Job Description

Educational Background:

  • Bachelors (4 Years) in Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Cyber Security/ Information Security or equivalent
  • Degrees must be recognized and attested by HEC

Job Location: Islamabad

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years technical hands-on experience in Malware Analysis, Threat Intelligence and Incident Handling
  • Certification in CEH or CHFI will be preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of malware, determine the threat level, and identify indicators of compromise (IOCs).
  • Develop and implement strategies to detect and mitigate malware threats.
  • Conduct comprehensive forensic investigations on compromised systems to identify the root cause and extent of breaches.
  • Preserve, analyze, and document digital evidence to support incident investigations.
  • Gather and analyze threat intelligence to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with threat intelligence teams to improve overall security posture.
  • Utilize network forensic tools and techniques to investigate network-based intrusions.
  • Analyze network traffic to identify malicious activity and develop response strategies.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems in the analysis and response to security incidents.
  • Conduct system audits and reviews to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Terms & Conditions:

  • Selected candidate will be hired initially for a contract period of 5 years (extendable if required).

  • Employees serving in Government/Semi-Government departments must provide/attach No Objection Certificate (NOC) at the time of submission of application.
  • 5 years' relaxation in age is already included in above age limit.
  • Selected candidate shall provide Medical Fitness and Character Certificates.
  • No TA/DA will be admissible.
  • Attested degrees from Higher Education Commission (HEC)/ relevant regulatory bodies must be provided at the time of interview.
  • Females, Minority, Transgenders and Differently-abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
  • Electronic gadgets, mobile phones, smart watches etc. will not be allowed during test and interview.
