Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a knack for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our audience. You will play a crucial role in amplifying our message, sharing patient stories, and promoting our initiatives through various platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write high-quality content for our website, newsletters, social media, and other communication channels.
  • Research and stay up-to-date on thalassemia-related topics and trends.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to produce educational materials and resources for patients and families.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to our brand voice.
  • Assist in creating content for fundraising campaigns and community outreach programs.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance to optimize future strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content writing, preferably in the healthcare or nonprofit sector.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and research skills.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and social media marketing.
  • Ability to convey complex medical information in a clear and compassionate manner.
  • Passion for making a difference in the lives of patients and their families.
