Role Overview

We are looking for an ambitious and skilled Enterprise (SpringBoot, Angular) Programmer to join Global Rescue as a Software Engineer - Java Full Stack Developer. This is a Mid-level position, requiring the incumbent to work with a team of Java developers to develop enterprise-level applications in Java, SpringBoot, Angular, Microservices, JPA, and Hibernate.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop Java-based applications using frameworks/tools like SpringBoot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, and MySQL.
  2. Develop moderately complex software in Angular, Angular CLI, Java, or other selected languages/tools for our products and/or applications, consistently following coding standards and in accordance with applicable software development methodology and release processes.
  3. Collaborate with the design team to review and improve application backend design and actively participate in application architecture discussions.
  4. Help architects and senior development team members develop & maintain Sequence/Class, State Transitions, Flow Charts Diagrams, ERDs, and other documentation.
  5. Collaborate with the design team to review and optimize code for better application performance.
  6. Assist the application support team when Level III support is required by investigating underlying causes and performing required code fixes.
  7. Create & execute unit tests to ensure functional integrity of solutions.
  8. Utilize software engineering tools such as configuration management systems, build processes (Maven, Git/GitLab), and debuggers to follow the defined software development process.
  9. Collaborate with other team members in peer code reviews, design & code performance improvement discussions.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science from a well-reputed university/institution.
  2. 3+ years of proven experience in Java, Angular, SpringBoot, JPA, Hibernate, and Spring AOP.
  3. Excellent problem-solving skills and comfort in writing complex code that optimally utilizes Java Collections and other APIs.
  4. Hands-on SQL programming experience in databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres SQL, or SQL Server.
  5. Experience designing, developing, and consuming web services in Spring REST API, JAX-RS, and JAX-WS.
  6. Experience with JUnit, Git/GitLab, Maven, TDD, and CI/CD processes.
  7. Knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and experience working with SOA.
