Job Purpose:

The ACCA Trainee will assist in various accounting and finance functions while receiving structured on-the-job training. This role is designed to help the trainee build practical experience, technical skills, and a solid foundation for a professional career in finance.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in hands-on training across financial processes, systems, and procedures

Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and internal reports

Support day-to-day accounts payable and receivable activities

Conduct reconciliations of accounts, bank statements, and financial records

Help ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies

Maintain accurate and well-organized financial documentation and records

Contribute to team projects and continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department

Education & Experience: ACCA qualified

Prior internship or experience in accounting or finance is an advantage

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

Accounting Knowledge: Familiarity with basic accounting principles and standards

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic financial software

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and focus in working with financial data

Adaptability: Ability to learn quickly and perform in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Teamwork: Collaborative attitude and willingness to support others in the finance function
