We're Looking for a .NET Developer

Client company introduction:

Our client company is founded by leading Pakistani names in the logistics and clearing services sector, namely Ryan Agencies and Crescent Services. Both entities are symbols of trust and reliability, with over 90 years of experience and a deep-rooted relationship with a wide range of shippers and carriers.

The company has a proven track record of handling large-scale projects and all types of cargo, supported by a wide range of vehicles from small pick-ups to hydraulic multi-axle trucks.

Their belief is that booking transportation for your goods should be as easy as a few taps on your phone. To that end, they have developed a fully integrated app allowing users to book via mobile phones or computers.

Job Description:

As a .NET Developer at Meri Gari, you will be part of a dynamic team, developing and maintaining web applications that are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly. If you're passionate about technology, problem-solving, and coding, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain ASP .NET Core MVC web applications.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and databases.
  • Ensure application scalability and performance by following best coding practices.
  • Apply Object-Oriented Programming principles to develop reusable, efficient code.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of Design Patterns for clean, maintainable code.
  • Participate in the full SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle), including analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot and debug application issues.
  • Work closely with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines and goals.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • ASP .NET Core MVC
  • Python
  • KendoUI and/or Angular
  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
  • Familiarity with Design Patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Repository)
  • Familiarity with SDLC processes

Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular and UI libraries like KendoUI.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL Server.
  • Experience with Version Control (preferably Git).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and own tasks.
  • Attention to detail and debugging skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Cloud Services (e.g., Azure, AWS) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Open Source platforms is a plus.
  • Candidates with experience in the Logistics industry are encouraged to apply.

Work Mode: Onsite

Work Days & Timing: Monday to Friday (9:00 am to 6:00 pm) & Saturday (9:00 am to 1:30 pm)
