Title: Data Entry / Process Associate

Business unit: GS Shared Service Centre

Location: Karachi, Pakistan

Role Purpose Statement:

  • The job incumbent is responsible for processing documents according to various program/process requirements.
  • The incumbent will work according to the required time zone to support the GS business units.
  • Performs duties within the BV Quality Assurance System, BV HSE Requirements, the Code of Ethics, and the BV Group policy.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

General Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

  • Ensure performance of the scope of work as per program mandates and process requirements.
  • Check all received documents and emails, then process them as per specific program or process requirements.
  • Verify details in documents according to process requirements.
  • Report discrepancies and follow up for resolution.
  • Update discrepancies while processing files.
  • Perform operational duties as required and support colleagues/teams whenever needed.

Responsibilities under RFC/RFI Creation:

  • Review requests and pro forma invoices from GS Business Units as instructed.
  • Create or complete RFC/RFI.
  • Capture details from ID forms or invoices into Siebel.
  • Assign RFC/RFI to the respective office.
  • Communicate with GS teams for queries.

Responsibilities under RFC/RFI Validation:

  • Check received documents and activate new importers/exporters in temporary status.
  • Validate data fields as per instructions.
  • Set RFC/RFI status accordingly.

Inspection Report Update Responsibilities:

  • Review inspection reports as per checklists.
  • Update details in Siebel.
  • Send system-generated emails for final document submission when applicable.

Shipment Product Update Responsibilities:

  • Enter product data based on inspection reports and final documents.
  • Seek clarification on discrepancies and update comments and status in Siebel.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fresh graduate with the required speed and accuracy.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Typing speed of 35-40 wpm with over 95% accuracy.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of French or Portuguese is a plus.
  • Analytical and logical thinking.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
